Temporary workaround until the dell repository gets fixed:

First download/install:
https://launchpad.net/%7Enetwork-manager/+archive/ppa/+files/libnm-util1_0.7-0ubuntu2~nm1~hardy3_lpia.deb

Then download/install:
https://launchpad.net/%7Enetwork-manager/+archive/ppa/+files/network-manager-pptp_0.7-0ubuntu1~nm1~hardy1_lpia.deb

Status in Dell Inspiron Mini with Custom Dell UI: New

Bug description:
In a recent upgrade (using the hardy-dell-mini-proposed source), the network-manager-pptp package was removed from my system due to a conflict with the new network-manager package.

Therefore, with the current state, use of PPTP VPN connections with network manager is not possible.

(it was, however, working prior to the update)
