Hi All,

I'm exploring the possibility of running a small one-day OpenCog developers'
workshop in October, to coincide with the Singularity Summit. Since the
workshop would be open to GSoC students, I plan to ask Google to host. I'll
create a short-list of other possible hosts if turned down by Google.

The best date for a workshop is still unclear, e.g. Friday October 17 or
Sunday October 19.

If you believe you can attend, please reply to this message so I can
estimate interest levels. If the numbers look good, I'll next approach
Google, then GSoC students, and finally the OpenCog lists & blogs.

To avoid a casual gathering, I believe we should emphasize the development
nature of the workshop, e.g. attendees should be expected to bring a
development laptop which can already build OpenCog projects of interest,
etc. Thoughts?
