Let me know about further issues that need clarification. I admit that 
the terminology is difficult and that not all of my points came out as 
clear as I'd have hoped for.

(Part of the ground is covered better in the 2 articles I sent you a few 
weeks ago.)

Regarding the Rules, currently the ones NOT used (IIRC) are:
- AndSubst
- OrPartition
- ORRule
- ImplicationConstruction
- Equi2Imp

The constructor body of
DefaultVariableRuleProvider::DefaultVariableRuleProvider(void)
is very helpful in seeing which Rules are actually being used and which not.
