Hello, everybody.
I've found some interesting info in mailing list for documentation
experts. There Oliver Dony talks about branching of docs. I have some
words to say about "good practice" in branching and so on.
There is a trunk docs version that is always developed (for today it
doesn't exist, but in general it is).

Every release of OpenERP, we branch our trunk some time before release
date and we fix bugs in it. After bugs hunting we merge our changes to
trunk to be up-to-date with bugs correction. But docs on the main
website are still composed from our "release" branch and this branch is
maintained by a short list of people. If we have big changes in docs
before expected date of new release, we branch a trunk and edit it until
it's ready.

But to achieve the goal to have docs permanently "up-to-date" on the
website, we should have a trunk version of docs to be available for
selection on the site.
