Re: Use additional addons in OpenERP 7/6.2-dev?

Quoting "Juan José Scarafía" <jjscarafia@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:
To see that option (update...€ you have to give permission of "technical features" to the user! Then refresh.

There is not extended view as it used to be in 6.

I have explicitly enabled technical features for the user
(admin), but I can't find "Update Modules List" anywhere.
Where is this function supposed to be?

The file
/usr/share/pyshared/openerp/addons/base/module/wizard/base_module_update_view.xml
is present...

Cheers

Include the path of your additional addons in the config file.

I added

addons_path = /home/myhome/addons

to the config file and it appears in the log file:

2012-10-04 10:52:22,393 3842 INFO ? openerp: addons paths: /home/myhome/addons

However, when I search for my plugin in the web
interface search function, it does not appear.

Any ideas?

I'm running trunk (nightly build 6.2dev-20120925-230102-1).

Hi,

how can I upload and activate additional addons in OpenERP
7 (6.2-dev)? Unter settings/modules in the web interface, there
is no upload or import function. Only a "Create" button, but it
is not clear what it is good for.

Is there any other way to activate external addons? E.g. using
the command line?

Thanks in advance!
