As Jeff said, problem is you are trying to create more than one "account

You need to define only ONE account move, and inside that account move
you enter ALL the move_line details...

As far as I can tell, that wizard only works if you have a previous year to close. Of course I do have a year to close, but it's not in OpenERP, so I can't use the wizard, right?

"move" == journal entry, right?

If I take the approach of creating this entry myself, what do I do when adjustments are necessary, if I can have only one entry per period? I can't unpost the entry I already made, and I can't make an adjusting entry. What's the reason for limiting a "centralized" journal to one entry per period, anyway? It's not much of a journal if it can have only one entry, in my mind. It's just...a piece of paper, with one line on it. A post-it.
