Hi Jay,

I have been checking your excellent web_search_alphabetic addon...

Have you advanced in the observations made during the branch merge into 
web_addons, like adding context param to enable/disable it for certain 
models, or filtering numbers ?


Besides its regular functionality, I am planning on using the drop-down 
list for other filtering needs...  Like having there the list of 
salespeople and filter by one of them (could also be made into buttons 
but if there are many this could clutter the screen...  )

In general, "old style" buttons for filtering are really missed, as it 
is more complicated for users to go to the "new" search and select 
there... Is there any development done that allows creating buttons on 
the search area ?
