I aready go through all of that.

And yes many users want this everywhere not just in calendar.

Case:
1. Give me sale order between two dates.
2. Issue created between two dates.
3. Lead created between two dates.

There is so many cases where you have to get records between two dates.
And for every thing you can not create reports.
