Still exploring 8. 

Seems to me we need to find a way to drop a Magento Website on top of the Odoo Website so that all the "cool stuff" shows up. 

An example of how to do this is dropping a Magento Website onto Joomla . Magebridge from Yireo does a good job of that. 

I am a bit concerned about how Odoo has announced they are changing their License structure for Ver 9. Seems it is going "in house" and behind closed doors. That said, I don't fully understand. Sounded like "open source" would be "open to paying customers" in the future. 

anyway, hope I can help and will keep exploring the ver 8 steps.

Hi Outthere. 
I am looping back to the subjects Open/Odoo related. It seems there have been some posts recently about running the connector with Version 8 Odoo. 

My question starts: Is OpenUpgrade the technique for migrating a populated OpERP 7 build to Vers 8. 
then Finishes with: Can the connector be built back in using branch 8? 

I just did a test build of Odoo 8 and I like a few of the features. The Marketing/Email seems cleaner. 

If all this is before Prime Time, I will start bringing myself more slowly up to speed. 

I am super impressed with everyone's work and hope I can be more of a contributor.
