You have been assigned a bug task for a public bug by Jay (OpenERP) (jvo-openerp):

An unnecessary 'Reply to icon' appears for every line item in a Mailgate
history, ie in CRM Leads/Opportunities. This icon should not appear
where a history line appears showing eg 'State changed to Pending' as
you would not want to reply to a State change
