I tried this issue in web client revision number 4468 and it works
correctly for me in google chrome. Have you your web client uptodate?

  "Manage views -> Edit" does not work in Google Chrome

  When I click "Manage views -> Edit", it closes the frame but doesn't open the new window for edition.
  Issue with Google Chrome.
