Amit Parik (OpenERP) (amp-openerp) has assigned this bug to you for OpenERP Web Client:

I have a large number of product categories (270+) When trying to add a
category in the product menu,  the behavior is different for each search
function. The F2 search seems to only return the first 100 categories
and typing in part of the name returns some but not all of the options.

So at the moment, I am not able to add categories at the end of the
list.
