Ok the doc has just been built successfully now.

Apparently someone broke it by deleting many images and it took a while 
to restore the images properly. Thank you Olivier Laurent for fixing it.

It would be great if the person fixing the issue could drop a line on 
the mailing-list mentioning that the issue is fixed and what it was. 
That way we can easily track what's happening and avoid duplicating the 
effort.
