the sub menu should only show up if
* more than 3-4 entries per group
* if user define favorites

so everything can be put there and the user has the choice ....

and "Favorites" is a common concept
my partners have already some 20 UNSORTED entries in 3 groups 
(print/browse/launch) - not very user friendly
