Re: RFC: Multi-company vs multi-installation

Hi,

I think we really need both in OpenERP. I worked a lot with multi-company and I must say
that the current system is well done. I appreciate that it'll be integrated in the next version.
I think the current system very powerful, you can choose what to share or not. This make
OpenERP really fit to everyone's need.

In the other hand, your suggestion bring something important too. I think this would even
extend the OpenERP market if we can have like a communication standard between 2 OpenERP
instances. I really love that idea.

What about making a blueprint for that ?

I know some work has already been done regarding to SO / PO, but we're talking about something
more powerfull right :) !

Keep in touch,

Regards,

Joël

You put hooks into "create", "write", "unlink" that serialize the object and a server-id info into a message and post in a queue. Other instances act as subscribers and would receive the message and execute the same method. With a good MQ server you can make it pretty reliable.
