Many2Many and extra columns in link table !

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible (or planned in 6.1) to be able toadd extra columns to "link" tables of many2many relations. Currently wehave to define a real OpenERP Object with two many2one fields and extrafields. Is it the only solution ? Thanks for your help.
