[Bug 963962] Re: Login page and Database manager should be translated in web client

As Stefan pointed out, this was added in trunk (7.0) at revision 3155
(rev-id: odo@xxxxxxxxxxx-20121003165507-hmrhqgf2gxvx1xx1 in openerp-web
project).

We don't plan to backport it to 6.1, as it represents an important risk
(it needs to be tightly integrated in the web client startup mechanism),
and is considered a new feature for 7.0. We know how important it can be
for some countries, but the risk/benefit ratio is way too high to
consider a backport in a stable series, sorry.

If someone from the OpenERP community is interested in doing a backport,
the code for loading the translation on the login page should be readily
reusable in 6.1. Integrating it in the web client bootstrap process will
however require some work, as that part changed quite a bit in 7.0.

PS: re-assigning to openerp-web project, this has nothing to do with the
server
