Hi *,

i'm trying to understand if openerp is actually able to manage stock and
procurement forecasts.

For example, if i plan a sale order on december and, considering all the
possibile delays (production delays, supplier delays, lead time, etc
etc) i know that the procurement must start on august.

Now, openerp is not able to compute (i guess) the goods in stock for
august and marks the procurement as an exception, but... if i already
know that i really need 100 units of PRODUCT1 in august i really need to
plan its procurement NOW because the supplier has to be informed of my
need in time.

I cannot figure out how to manage this with openerp.
stock_planning is not an answer because that must be computed by the
system.

Any suggestions?
Do i have to start the development of new addon?
