You have been subscribed to a public bug by Jay (OpenERP) (jvo-openerp):

In 5.0.10, when you make an outgoing packing and enter a production lot for a stock move, OpenERP checks whether it's available in the stock in any case.
It should instead only check stockable products, not services or consumable products.
