Hello Sebastien,

We have improved the functionality on version 6 compare to v5.

We have created three different views for stock.picking object which is 
1) Incoming Shipments
2) Delivery Orders
3) Internal Moves

1)Incoming Shipments :- This is created from purchase order means this
menu is for Incoming product (purchase product) which is generated with
"IN/00001' , It described that the those products are incoming.

2)Delivery Orders:- This is created from sale order means this menu is
for Outgoing product (sell product) which is generated with "OUT/00001'
, It described that the those products are outgoing.

3) Internal Moves:- This menu describe the internal picking means it's
source and destination location both are company's internal location or
stock location, means product moves comapny itself which is generated
with "INT/00001'.

So I think this is a good functionality for the users compare to V5.

This is not bug that's why I am closing this issue.

  Picking List & Delivery Order "internal move" or "outgoing move" ?

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):

Bug description:
  Hi
  I am migrating my customer with an OPW (I send a copy by email to the support).
  My customer use the option "Picking List & Delivery Order".
  Before on V5 the state was for the Picking List "out" and for Delivery Order "delivery".
  So picking and delivery was easily identifiable

  Now on V6 there is only 3 states incomming, internal, outgoing.
  I think OpenERP try to refactor the code in order to have this 2 steps :
  - the "picking list" as internal (because in the reality it's an internal stock=>output)
  - the "delivery order" as outgoing (because in the reality it's an outgoing output=>customer)

  The problem is that the picking list have the type "outgoing" and the
  sequence of an "internal move", my customer is lost :S

  I don't know if it's a bug, an error of implementation or a
  misunderstood from our part.

  What do you think?
