I have checked your issue with latest updated code of trunk but I didn't face any problem at my end.
Revision of trunk :
Server  - 3825
Addons - 5772
Web - 1531
Would you please check it again and informed us still you have faced the same problem.

Title:
  Recursion error in modules dependencies

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  In a new database, using server trunk [6.1] and addons trunk [6.1], when i try to install new modules it shows :
  Recursion error in modules dependencies !
  and cancels installation.
  The only application that i was able to install was project management. Everything else fails with the same error.

  openobject-server: revno 3824
  openerp-web: revno 1530
