I have checked this issue and Its working fine at my end.
I have checked with Trunk so would you please elaborate 
more regarding this issue.

  tab out of a product selector does not add tax

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  adding a product to a sales order if you select the product you want
  from the typeahead dropdown and tab out of the field it does not fire
  the event to add the tax and do stock level checking.
