[Bug 911327] Re: l10n_uk web-client wizard problem
Hi Amit!
Thank you for checking.
It looks like the problem where the wizard changes the 6 to a 4 is only
when you use the 'search' option for the purchase/sales tax default.
The pull-down works fine, or if no changes are made, the 4 will remain
intact.
See my video attached which shows the issue.
On the second point, yes, the correct number of digits for this chart
of accounts is 4 by default. This is what over 50% of companies in the
UK use. I will see if I can find a link to support this information.
Also, currently the VAT rate in the UK is 20%. So the PT11 and ST11
codes are for this rate and should be the defaults for any UK company
installing OpenERP.
kind regards
Colin

Title:
l10n_uk web-client wizard problem
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Incomplete
Bug description:
When installing the l10n_uk chart of accounts using the web-client,
changing the #digits per account code from 6 to 4, does not work. As
soon as you click 'next', it reverts back to 6. This does not happen
when using the GTK client.
If possible please change the module to use 4 as the default number of
digits in the wizard as this is correct for CT600 and what the module
is designed to replicate. Also, the purchase vat default code should
be PT11, and the sales vat default code should be ST11, currently they
are set to ST0 and PT0.
many thanks
