As per your Comment #3 , I didn't faced any Issue. It's working fine at my end.
I have checked this Issue with following revision number.
Server - 4006
client - 2041
addons - 6480.

Would you please check It again And notify us where you have faced the
problem.

Title:
  reports page numbers print problem

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  many (all ?)  reports have a problem printing page numbers (may be
  only  for companies with longer company names ?)

  in Austria many companyies have long names 
  example we have a lot of    (my-name + GmbH & Co KG) this gets realy long
