Hello,

This issue seems related to OpenERP 6.0 .deb packages, and if that is the case, it is basically a duplicate of bug 705859.
There is no need to report the bug separately in the "OpenERP Addons" project, if we fix this issue once it will fix it also for the .deb packages that can be downloaded from openerp.com.
I'll re-open the original bug.

  problem with package directly downloaded from http://openerp.com, on
  debian. The fix in https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-
  server/+bug/705859/comments/16 seems to work fine.
