Hello Nicholas linn,

I am Understand your Issue. But only for few client we can't change
behavior . This is not a small Implementation. So It's advisable that,if
you have more customer with retail environment then you can suggest them
to use "point of sale".

So right now I am closing this Issue, But If you have still any query
with out hesitation reopen this Issue.

Bug description:
  Wishlist: Adding items to long sales orders can become tedious when
  each item requires a popup be opened a form filled out and then
  closed.  Allowing direct editing of the tree view using default values
  can signifigantly improve entry time.
