Message #07475
[Bug 920013] Re: error: Could not find suitable distribution for Requirement.parse('ZSI==2.1-a1')
This still applies, with a current trunk branch (rev 4062) on Ubuntu
10.04 (LTS)
I installed wit "apt-get install python-zsi", but still get
Installed /usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/openerp-6.1rc1-py2.6.egg
Processing dependencies for openerp==6.1rc1
Searching for ZSI==2.1-a1
Reading http://pypi.python.org/simple/ZSI/
Reading http://pywebsvcs.sf.net/
No local packages or download links found for ZSI==2.1-a1
error: Could not find suitable distribution for Requirement.parse('ZSI==2.1-a1')
I think this is because the ZSI version is 2.1~a1-3, not 2.1-a1 exactly.
python-zsi:
Installed: 2.1~a1-3
Candidate: 2.1~a1-3
Version table:
*** 2.1~a1-3 0
500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
I tried to grep through the sources (grep -ri "2.1-a1" *) to find where
this requirement is defined, but this returned nothing.
