I have checked this issue with latest trunk but I did not face 
any problem  as you mention in bug report.So would you please 
elaborate more regarding this issue.

  [6.1 trunk] [base] export translation - filename gets truncated at
  16ch

Bug description:
  helo,

  during the export translation process, the filename to be saved gets
  truncated to 16 chars, due to field 'name' dimension (16).
