Hello Peter, Amit,

We have found a way and it has been architectured as a module, which has
been committed to community branches as per the repos shown under
'Related Branches'.

Its hard that this fix get added to stable release unless one has an
OPW. So, you can add this module to your system and check to make sure
it fits your need.

Adding it into stable is completely risk-free too. So, one can go with
the OPW way too.

Thanks for reporting and its an honor being a medium to fix it.

  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Create a project with 2 members.
  Create a task, goto search view res.users -> you can choose somebody who is not a project member ...
  This should not be possible.
