Hello Erwin,

I think we have been experiencing an artifact of the branching off of
the 6.1 translations. It took a few hours for Launchpad to generate and
import the 6.1 version of the translation templates, and during that
time it is possible that some discrepancy occurred concerning the
timestamping of the translations done in parallel.

Launchpad automatically shares translations between branches, but perhaps some race condition can occur if you translate while creating new templates, and the translation may be considered too old for the new templates for a while.
Not too old in the sense that they will not be considered for the new branch, but too old in the sense that they will not trigger a new export for that language/module pair on the next day.

This may have happened only for translations done on the 18th, and all
it takes to fix it is perhaps to translate something in the same
language/module pair now, so that the translation export is properly
triggered again tomorrow.

I think this may have happened already because if we take your first
example of "Traceability" in stock/nl, you indeed translated it on
2012-02-18 and I see it was exported to the "trunk" branch on the next
day [1] as expected, while it was only recently exported in the 6.1
branch on 2012-03-01[2], probably due to a more recent modification.
This means that this new translation should be properly found in nightly
builds dated after the 2012-03-02.

If you are still experiencing the same issue for other language/module
pairs, you should try to edit at least one term in that pair, wait the
next day (around 8:00 GMT) and see if LP did export the new translation,
then wait for the following nightly builds (the day after).

One last thing, keep in mind that you need to install a new OpenERP
database to see the new translations coming with the latest nightly
build, or at least use the "Install translation" wizard with the
"override" flag.

I hope this helps, do not hesitate to reopen this bug if you notice that
the above procedure does not fix it.

Title:
  Translations not visible

Status in OpenERP Server:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  I've installed the latest nighly build OpenERP 6.1-20120218-003447. I
  saw that some translations I've mad on launchpad were not available.
  Then I've downloaded revision 4068. Ive copied the files over the
  installation.

  Still I don't see the translations I've made on lal the accounting charts;
  i.e. Account Charts	 Brazilian - Accounting

  If i look in the nl.po file of the base add-on, I see the translation,
  but not on the GUI?

  Does the content of the PO file gets transferred to the database? And
  if yes, when? How to trigger?

  I have the same problem with some translations in other add-ons. I.e.
  the menu item "Settings" staus in English.

  Please help requested.
