of course it is a general issue

if an form is opened for data entry and there is a mandatory m2o field
with only ONE possible value (restircted by domain) this should be set
automatically, as the user can not choose anything else

this is true for ALL lot creation operations (m2o) which are donw from a
resources with product_id

I am sorry if you do not understand this

  currently it is necessary to enter the product in a newly created
  production lot - although it can only belong to the current article
