Thanks for your nice explanation...

Yes, you are right. If American User install OpenERP and forget to
change the currency (EURO to USD) and he/she installed the account/sale
module then It might be created a problem for the user.

Because after that user can seen the all pricelist in EURO as well as
problem seems in currency rate also.

But when user want to use the database as a production environment, then
user first going to create his company (as well as use the currency as
per his company) then user going to install the modules at this time the
problem will never appears.

@Kyle: you suggested that OpenERP will provide a currency(required)
option at that time of db creation but most important thing is currency
link to the company not to the directly with database because OenERP
also provided a company with  multi-currency environment.

At 6.0 we have a one configuration wizard which is for currency but It's
based on company. So I think you suggestion doesn't make sense that
provided a currency(required) option at that time of db creation.

That's why for more dissuasion on this issue, I am setting this as an
"Opinion". you can post this on feedback.openerp.com also at there our
experts can review it.

  New database should required currency selection

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Opinion

Bug description:
  In 6.1 when you create a new database it chooses EUR by default. This
  is bad practice. In the United States we do not use Euros and any
  other country would also have the same problem. If I choose an
  american chart of accounts it still uses Eur as the default currency.
  There is no option to select this.
