Hello Fgi,

Now we understand your problem but this is not a bug.

You have talking about the functionality which is working GTK but not in web-client.
But our web and GTK both have different architecture as well as different behaviour.

Now from your issue, you want to filter on dashboard but dashboard data
are already sorted. You did not seen all all the record on dashboard
because we already put a some domain on every dashboard as per user
required. i.e for salesman we have sales dashboard, here he can seen
only new lead as well as in-progress lead. So no need to apply on filter
on dashboard.

Again one point which currently we can not switched the dashboard in web, because we have set this type of behaviour.
So we can not consider this issue as a generalise way because it's your specific requirement not a bug.

  Dashboard from a filter

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  When you create a new filter in the reporting section (of Sales for
  example) and you add this filter to the dashboard page, the new
  dashboard doesn't consider the new filter (even if it was previously
  saved) but the default filter. It seems to be the same for graphics...
