I have checked this issue at my end with trunk as well as 
6.1 stable, But I did not face any problem. So would you please 
provide more information regarding this issue.

Title:
  Accounting period filter in the tax report does not work

Status in OpenERP Server:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  In the Accounting module, there is a tax report.

  However the period filter does not work. When i filter on the period,
  there is an error message that pops up.
