Hello fgi,

I have checked your Issue with following configuration,
  • Windows 7
  • OpenOffice 3.3
  • OpenERP 6.1

For Issue#1, you are talk about "it is impossible to reach any sections
in the extension (e.g. server connection)". But I did not face any
problem. would you please refer this also lp:915288

For Issue#2, I also realised that, It is not remove from Extension
Manager list. But it is possible to uninstall the extension through the
"Disable" button. So would you please try again and notify us where you
have faced the problem.

Bug description:
  Context: Windows 7, OpenERP 6.1 web client, OpenOffice 3.3,
  installation of "base_report_designer"

  When the extension is installed in OpenOffice Writer, it is impossible
  to reach any sections in the extension (e.g. server connection). It is
  also impossible to uninstall the extension, etc.
