I have checked this issue with 6.1 , 6.0  as well as trunk.But I did not face any problem like yours.So 
would you please elaborate more regarding this issue.

  no luck, this module doesn't seem to work:
  while scanning for the next token
  found character '>' that cannot start any token
  in "<unicode string>", line 2, column 185:
  ... , 'arch': u"<?xml version='1.0'?>\n<form string='Taxes Report'>\ ...
  ^ 

  seems a fundamental problem somehow, the screenshot gives the
  context...
