[Bug 952018] Re: No income account defined for product
You know, I have to say. This is really really stupid. I can get
frustrated because this requirement did not exist in 6.0, but now it
does. Worse, its a property so its not simply stored in the database.
What are customer supposed to do, when they have 40,000 products, and
thousands of categories, that do not have this requirement and now they
cannot validate or create invoices because of this problem. They should
go to each category or product and tediously select an account. Nice

Title:
No income account defined for product
Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
Opinion
Bug description:
When creating sales orders, I could not create a final invoice because
no income account property was defined for the products I was trying
to sell. I do not understand why I get this error. I check the product
form and it claims this is only needed if I want to use a different
one than the default one. This is also not a required field, but yet
in any system I have seen using 6.1 I cannot complete the workflow on
a sale order without filling this information in.
