In my opinion, this is no wishlist item, but a bug in the installer.

  Installer path

Status in OpenERP Server:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I install frequently a nighly build. In the installation porcess you
  can change the installation path. I'v change it every time to
  c:\program files\openerp 6.1, but that doesn't have any effect. It
  stays in the long path, like:

  C:\Program Files\OpenERP 6.1-20120318-003001

  Can this be changed?
