I did nothing special. Just entering events is enough.  My timezone
setting is Europe/Amsterdam which is (observing daylight saving) GMT+2 I
think, which is why I suspect the timezone information is not properly
handled.

  timezone problem, caldav meeting time is different from webclient
  meeting time

Bug description:
  Observed on trunk as of 2012-04-21

  The meeting time of events in a caldav connected client (thunderbird
  lightning in this case) are off by 2 hours. I suspect this is a
  timezone issue.

  This problem occurs in a number of different places, see for example
