After following your description,
i come to know the couse of error

if we replace this line:
if end[2]['pieces'] == dict_val['pieces']:

by this code

if dict_val and dict_val['pieces'] == end[2]['pieces'] :

it will solve the issue

  Steps to reproduce:
  - Go to Accounting > Cash Registers and create a new Cash register for the cash journal
  - click on Open Cashbox
