I have tested your scenario, But at the time of click 'scrap'. It's going smoothly ....
I did not face any error. That's why I have attached the video. would you please check It and notify us where you have faced the problem.

  [6.0] scrap in MO - finished product, error "you must assign a
  prod.lot"

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  non comprehensible error occurs:

  product to produce, enable 'track all'
  products to consume, enable 'track all'

  create MO
  assign production lots in internal picking, process picking
  assign production lot in finished part
  start production
  open tab 'Finished products'
  try to scrap a qty through wizard

  error occurs: "you must assign a production lot for this product"
