I have checked your scenario, But at my end working fine. It's computed
days as expected. That's why I have attached the screenshort. would you
please check it and notify us where you have faced the problem.

Title:
  wrong holiday computation

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Open ERP 6.1

  I tried the holidays module 
  I 've put 20 days in the Remaining legal leaves for a Ressource
  they this ressource asks for 12 days leave, it is confirmed by the manager
  The Ressource form shows 32 days in the Remaining legal leaves field...

  Should be 8 IMHO
