Hello Joshua,

Basically coefficient  of UOM  are come in to picture when UoS are
different than the UOM. and Measure Type : Fixed/Variable are used for
the Own Information. Nothing else....

For Example, Any One Product are configure with following way,,,
Product : Milk
Default UOM : gallen 
Purchase UOM : gallen
--------
Secoend UoM >>
Unit of Sale : Liter
UOM -> UOS Coeff : 3.785
Measure Type : Fixed / Variable (For information only)

  Conversion factor for UOM and UOS version6.1

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hi Has anyone come across, a situation where the coeff of UOM can be
  varied ? I selected the varied and the fixed and they all seem to work
  the same way. Any ideas on how the two work ? thanks
