Your 2nd point is correct."<group attrs={'readonly':[('state',
'in'...)]} >" this thing not working on search but it's not a bug
because this not a correct way. It will create a lots of mess-up cause
in search/tree view has lots of record and state are different for all
record. So how can we set the state for attrs? it doesn't make sense. In
sort it's not a bug.

For your 1st point related to unicode, doesn't got it properly. So would
you please elaborate more on this point.

  The v7.0 new search field does not support  unicode ,
