[Bug 1014523] Re: [google_map_6.1] GTK Client crashes when web page is opened

Bogdan,

Thanks for reporting.

We think there could be fixes possible from 2 ways: GTK and addons.

For GTK, we can bypass 'nodestroy' key when its a call from button(special case of URL).
For Addons, the fix is attached here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Bug description:
  hello,

using ver. 6.1. just installed google_map module. It works fine in the
web client, but not in the GTK. On clicking on the See MAp button, the
client shutsdown, and the google page opens as expected. There is one
  trace:

/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/openerp_client-6.1.1-py2.7.egg/openerp-client/widget/view/form_gtk/many2one.py:348: Warning: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.32.3/./gobject/gsignal.c:2537: instance `0x2222d60' has no handler with id `2920'
    self.wid_text.set_text(self.value_on_field)

  Thank you,
  Bogdan
