Amit,

Sorry but I think its about what an activity is , I believe.
If you consider an activity an object with just a deadline , I agree with you.

If you consider an activity an object with a start and end dates (in
fact they carry this kind of info) then just displaying the deadline
doesn't give the idea of the timeframe planned to perform the activity.
Also, if an activity is not meant for this, then I don't understand the
reason of planning activities as they appear immediately in a calendar
and two deadlines on the same day/time/second are unlikely to occur.

Maybe the 2nd option should instead be covered using project phases? if
so, I believe there is a problem with scheduling functionality (will
report separately)

  project module - calendar view

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hi,

  When creating tasks and assigning them to openerp users (also defined
  in the HR module as employees) the gantt is correctly populated but
  the calendar view will not contain member list or any other colored
  bar indicating the task alloctions. Also, conflicts on resource
  allocations do not seem to work anymore.

  OE: 6.1 (updated from launchpad today)
  P.M. modules installed: project, project_gtd, project_mrp, project_planning, project_timesheet

  All tests were done using the admin account.
