 you can try with the pdf in attachement

FYI the indexing subsystem relies on some _external_ programs. By that time
the code had been written, some systems that were able to extract the text
content of common files had been chosen:
  - antiword for .doc files
  - [built-in xml parser] for .odf and .docx families of files
  - pdftotext for PDF files

These binaries are *not* always available (depending on the Linux distro) and
you may try yourself to install them. Alternatively, the indexing system can
easily be expanded to use more analyzers for your needs. Or else, you will see
a warning message in the openerp-server's log files and 'document' will
continue to work.

  Hello,

  if I add a PDF the content is not indexed in the knowledge base.

  But it works with word and open office!
