  Product Serial Numbers Methodology and labels wishlist

Bug description:
  This is a wishlist
  Having experience with other ERP , the product serial number methodology currently in OPENERP is not practical.
  My implementation so far is for a clothes store where the owner does not care for individual pieces.
  But with other ERP's the issue of serial number is very important for tracking especially for renting purposes or warranty.

  Another way to use the serial number would be to keep the product as
  is, but between tabs have a serial number table. So that the POS wont
  show you multiple times the same item. This is the case now if I would
  like to have each item with different serial.

  The product would work as template and each serial number could have
  its table for different variables affected (i.e. location)

  When receiving the user right now has to create the item multiple
  times, open each product for each serial number. You could upon
  delivery say the starting number of the item and the number of items
  so that the serials are calculated automatically. Or similarly to
  generate your own or insert them manually.

  Stock move should work the same way when selecting items.

  POS should detect the product with the serial and under the
  description in the order lines have the serial number.

  I believe this would widen the usability of the product to many other
  businesses who need this.

  Also it would be nice to have a label report where you select the
  product and then which serial numbers. or multiple product .

  Even with the current functionality if I have a shirt that i have 2 in
  stock and a jeans for 1 in stock. I have to print the product labels
  report 1 time to have the jean and the shirt barcodes. and then waste
  another piece of paper to print just the barcode for the second shirt.
