Hello Alan,

there should be default value set for destination location field if
group (Multiple location and warehouses) is not given..

It has been fixed in  https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp-dev/openobject-addons/trunk-bug-1050446-atp

it will be merged in trunk soon..

Title:
  Can't create new Delivery Order

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  On trunk 7.0Alpha (running today's checkout) I cannot create a new
  Delivery Order.

  When adding a line item I see the following error message

  "
  The following fields are invalid: 

  * destination location
  "

  But there is no field I can see to add a destination location.
