The need to have a dynamic selection (o2m field with dynamic domain and
selection widget) is a common requirement. The duplicate bug has been
converted in an answer, without any action to solve the issue.

It would help if on the normal one2many the "create and edit" option
could be surpressed, but I have not found a documented method to do
this.

  domain in a many2one with widget selection

Bug description:
  when i use 'widget="selection"' in a many2one field, the domain used
  in the field is not applied, and all lines are displayed.
